Nevill, 2nd Battalion Royal Irish Regiment, comprising: 1914 Star (2. Lieut: J. H. A. Nevill.); 1914-1920 British War and Victory Medals (Lieut. J. H. A. Nevill.), lacquered, fine (3) John Henry Adrian Nevill, born London 22nd January 1882, a member of the British Peerage, the great, great grandson of Sir George Nevill, 1st Earl of Abergavenny, and a descendant of William the Conqueror. Shown as living in Rogate, West Sussex, in the 1891 Census. To France 6th October 1914 where he served as Interpreter attached to Base Command at Ostend. Later served as Lieut in 2nd Battalion Royal Irish Regiment. Died 29th April 1942 and his memorial service was held at Holy Trinity, Sloane Street, London.
